Is my data secure?
Your data is only ever saved to your Outlook calendar - Settlement Reminders does not store any copies of your data. We use encryption to ensure your data is encrypted in transit.

How does Settlement Reminders handle weekends and public holidays?
If a scheduled reminder falls on non-business day, Settlement Reminders will automatically adjust it to an appropriate business day, either before or after the non-business day it falls on. For example, if a reminder is scheduled for Easter Monday, it will be moved to either the Thursday immediately before Good Friday or the following Tuesday, depending on how the reminder is configured.

Can I change the date of a reminder?
Yes. The list of reminders is previewed to you before you save them to your calendar. You can either set a specific date, or change the relation to the reference date (e.g. number of days before settlement). You can also change the text of the reminder before saving, and once it's saved, you can change it in your Outlook calendar.

How customisable are the reminder settings?
Settlement Reminders provides you with defaults for your state or country based on applicable legistlation (note: only NSW is available during the private preview, but you can create your own). You can create your own lists of reminders, either from scratch or by copying your state or country defaults. It is 100% customisable and flexible to suit your needs (even outside of conveyancing).

Does Settlement Reminders account for time zones?
Settlement Reminders is designed to work with your Microsoft 365 account's time zone settings. If your account is configured to use a different time zone to your own, Settlement Reminders will use that time zone to schedule reminders. For example, if you are in Sydney but your account is configured to use Perth time, Settlement Reminders will schedule reminders based on Perth time.

What email platforms does Settlement Reminders integrate with?
Settlement Reminders is specifically built as an Outlook plugin for customers on the Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online) platform. We do not support other email platforms at this time.

Is there a mobile version of Settlement Reminders?
There is no mobile app for Settlement Reminders. Settlement Reminders is built as an Outlook plugin and is designed to be used on a desktop or laptop computer.
